*Owt for nowt*

'Hear all, see all, say nowt, tak' all, keep all, gie nowt, and if tha ever does owt for nowt do it for thysen'

A proverb now traditionally associated with Yorkshire, with numerous variant forms. The precepts make up the caricature of the Yorkshireman as seen by detractors: canny, dour (say nowt = say nothing), grasping (gie nowt = give nothing), and selfish (if tha ever does owt for nowt do it for theysen = if you ever do anything for nothing do it for yourself).

Well the above proverb is not strictly true as us 4 yorkshire men have done something for nowt and it want strictly for oursens. We have written, recorded and produced a new recording of our song 'Socks'.

Here is the link for the free download of the newly recorded track...

Oh and just to anyone who cares to listen, I will be on Radio Sheffield tonight discussing future plans and obviously the upcoming don valley bowl shows with the Arctic Monkeys.
